March 25, 2018 Heavenly-Round 2

It was a Sunday morning with the sun shining brightly. I forgot that the weekend lifts start at 8:30am. Hmmm, we missed out on our usual parking spot close to the lift and had to park in the lower lot with the looong walk to the Stagecoach lift on the Nevada side. This side is usually not crowded and even on Sunday was not crowded. There was another 3"' overnight but also some wind. The weekend crowd started skiing down the untracked, but had the same experience of firm, wind-crusted snow. But it was the weekend crowd and they didn't mind. We skied off the Stagecoach, Olympic, Dipper, Comet, Canyon, and Sky Express lifts. The singles lines moved pretty fast, and we met folks usually from the Bay area - seemed to be their spring vacation. They always ask where we are from, and we tell them about the campervan and being retired and in our 70's. The usual response is they wish they could do that. Our response is "get old and don't do too much crazy stuff".
