Well, we marshaled our forces for Paradise. But then we got word of a noon gate opening.
So off from Sumner to Snoqualomie.
Opted for a ride up Silver fir then, hopped on the Nordic trails (MArch 25th last scheduled day , plenty of snow just few customers ) to Olallie meadows. All downhill to just above Rockdale . Skined up using trails and direct through variable depth spring powder 6-8" to enter Silver Peak Basin above Party Loop.  Lots of Cornices on west ridgeline so we stayed on the east side of bowl. Gained the Lunch hump 5100" and called it great with sunbreaks and powder laying in the main basin  below us. Perhaps the best powder run Ive had up there. Continuous fun meadow skipping all the way back keeping our speed up on the  low angle  while weaving through tree tops. Total six skiers 4 in our party and a young couple. Track set . 5 hrs total . 2 skin transitions, one in and one out. Good bond to old , Not much wind effect but we decided not to test that corniced west ridge line.
A very good day!
Thanks for the report!

Nice trip report. ;)

We went back there on the 20th, dropping to Lake Annette.  Deepest/best cover conditions I've ever enjoyed for the main drop; Lake A 99% frozen.  Descent was a tad firm that day despite the sun. Exit snowshoe trough was variable; we probably skied 50% of the trail. There was enough snow in the parking lot to inhibit regular cars. Bicycle back to Silver Fir to pick up car with semis whizzing by on I-90 was legal and fun if not too safe.
