WA Cascades West Slopes South (Mt Rainier)

Things were ok in this part of MRNP. North slopes were all pretty soft, 6" or so over the crust with varying freshness -- good skiing when the light wasn't totally flat. South slopes showed a harder crust and only an inch or two of new snow over that -- this could ski well where the terrain is open and smooth, but skinning was more difficult. Calm day with just small hints of sun. Yay, skiing!
