Feb 5 and 6 Hogback

Pretty good conditions considering the wind storm.   The big bowls were a little wind packed, but the eastern aspects of protected bowls and forest were very good, stable, and fluffy all the way down to Miriam Lake.   skied all the way down to Hwy 12 on the 6th late in the afternoon and the snow was pretty good in the trees. not that much wind damage and soft all the way down, getting across the stream to the highway snow bank is still the most difficult part as the highway side is super steep to climb out and there are literally no snow bridges to ski over. with extreme luck found one after much perilous searching.  great days out there right now.
