Bluebird day, no wind. Remained cold enough that the north face treed slopes held together well, 8 inches of fluff over a firm base.  Trees on the ridge started dropping bombs about 1:00 when the sun warmed them up.  Some folks dropped off the south side early before those slopes were baked.  I've never been off that way - curious how it was.  A handful of groups out there - all played well together and found fresh tracks in the old growth.  Surprisingly, some folks were still coming up when we headed out at 2:30.

We considered Snoqualmie for the day but the telemetry showed it had gotten to 43 deg there on Friday so we opted for the higher elevation.  About 500 ft above the parking lot the snow quality crashed - was just mank.  Saw a few natural releases on the south facing slopes on the other side of the valley but the north slopes we skied were just fine.
