Very weird distribution of new snow. More near the Hiway than up on the ridge - but either way- bad call today. Hit rocks on half my practiced "low snow" turns. Will try to check out coverage higher up tomorrow from 4,000-6,000. Old snow crusty and solid. Don't totally trust the new on top, but there's not that much of it. Tested on a couple of short steeps and nothing moved.
