Victor & I left skined up to 7400' on Cashmere, via Pioneer Cr.
Nuclear winds stopped us. Additionally we burnt too much time with a late start (7.30AM) & poncing around on skis when we should haev just booted up Pioneer Cr.
Exited down via Lake Caroline where we found Kyle's ice-hunting skin track, that swept us back to the car by 7.00PM

We did not see any avalanche activity.
There were 2 crusts; The first is about 3" below the other @ 3500'. Above the top crust is anything from 3"to 24"of new light snow, the new snow-upper crust bond seems better higher up, but was not great yesterday for skinning until there was enough snow underfoot.

Skiing was totally incredible, best of the season. Weather was delighttful. It was great to be back in the Enchantments. Thanks for the skin track & the low-down Kyle.
Victor has a few photos in his phone....
Oh man very jealous!  Sweet trip Victor and Jake!

That's one happy Brit!

Great to see that there are still a few backcountry related trip reports on the site. Looks like a beautiful day!!
