ALMR 2/17-2/19

Went out to A Lakes to escape the holiday weekend crowds and we struck gold. Saturday we got a bunch of great runs and then the power went out as things were really starting to fill in and it cut the day short. Sunday was about as good as it gets and we were getting fresh turns until after 4. Monday was even colder lighter snow and we skied until about 12:30 since we had to get back. I was drinking sparkling water and skiing Champagne thinking it really can't get any better than this.
Decided to hit up the Upper Bowl at Ski Bowl on the drive home and holy cow was it totally slashed up. Fun to see the aftermath of the storm and ,as always, happy that I made the drive out to Baker.
