February 3rd, 2006, Alpental

Pretty good at Alpental today, the sun even poked out in the morning. By the time I left, it was dumping hard. The greatest snow danger today was in the parking lot. The snowbanks are pretty giant and overhanging. One of them went and smashed up several cars pretty badly. I'm feeling pretty lucky because if I'd of parked 10' to the left, my truck would have been creamed by the slide. I'll accept that luck as my "gaggle of prizes" for being the 1000th member and getting my name plastered all over the place.
