After a powder day at Crystal on Tuesday, there was 5" overnight at Stevens plus another 4" of powder while we were skiing there today. It was very quiet with no lift lines and lots of fresh powder lines. On steeper terrain we could feel the crust from the last rain event. On the moderate terrain it was fun powder turns. Thursday may be our last powder day with the rain arriving again for a few days. Â

Yes it was a nice day. What a change from 75° and sunshine in Arizona for the last 10 days. There was a bit more crowd because today was a no school day for some districts. Lines weren't bad though, just a bit on Hogs at times. Seventh skied well, although there was a bit of fog bank up there. The trees were good, Big chief bowl needed a bit more snow to be primo, the usual edges where nice except as Zap mentioned, there was that really hard firm ice layer underneath and some of the areas had some pretty big frozen bumps. All and all, it was a really fun day
