Wow.
What was a couple of inches in the forecast Thursday night turned into 7. Well, 7 reported but it seemed like more up high. Visibility was crap late morning when all the Alpine lifts open. To kill time hoping for some clearing I hooked up with a local as we were skinning the cat track to Flute Peak. We headed out of bounds to Oboe and took a couple laps in knee deep and light powder. Kept it low ange for the most part and nothing was moving. Good warm up for a full backcountry day tomorrow.

I wish it were easier to post pics here, right from my iPhone. But here's one. Run of the day....heck, my life!
Great report and photo. ;)

Gotta love “runs of your lifeâ€
It's hard to see people in such terrible conditions. Just wish there was something we could do to help.
