Today was an excellent powder day as the 9" at Pig Alley came in light enough, and there was more in the Alpine. High winds gusting into the 60's kept the Alpine Chairs closed, but the T Bar was like the 70's...The highest lift - and all anyone needed. With 3/4's of Harmony's Frontside available to those with warm cloths and wind protection, there was powder for all. As nothing was open the day before, there was anywhere from 2" to 2' for the taking. The high traverse into Bommer Bowl yielded the most snow. The trees lining McConkeys and Boot Chutes were bottomless bliss. Even before the T Bar opened, the usual spots were able to be skied with reckless abandon! Great PNW Powder!

Off to Les Arcs for now....I heard they got some snow.
