Empty playground today. Most everyone's gone home from vacation. Weather very nice without the beauty of yesterday's all day sun. Temps still in the 40's with excellent snow on groomed runs. 1 to 2 feet of fresh in the next couple of days would be real nice as I am tiring of perfect turns. The alpine needs more snow to cover up rocks, ice, and crusts. It will be interesting to see how the new snow bonds, but I expect considerable back Country danger throughout the next set of storms predicted to hit all week.
