Another day of getting some skin laps late in the day at Mt. Baker. When the crowds leave and the conditions begin to firm up is when I begin to have fun! Excellent coverage, and bumps on the skied out parts are not to bad. Snow off the main runs can vary between deep slush on south facing aspects to a trap crust on north facing aspects.

Skiing footage starts at 2:40 into the video for those who don't want to hear my pre-skiing banter.

they say there is someone out there for everyone,
those firm conditions must get at least one excited.

It would be nice to find somewhere where I can run some super G or even downhill gates on that firmness. Then one would be even more excited.
