Despite tales of vehicular carnage and a corresponding pass closure, we made it up to Hyak around 8:40 or so. We followed a skin track that had maybe 3-4" of new snow on top, so not sure if those people got up super duper early or if that was a track from yesterday.
We did three laps, and on all three it was blower and/or wind-affected at the top, and very heavy at the bottom. Popped off a few pockets of wind slab 3-8" deep on the backs of rollovers. Fun skiing, hard quad workout, good baked goods at Georgia's Bakery.

You, most likely, ended-up following the skin track of the lady I saw skinning up the road on my way out @ 830 in the morning..shen I stopped to ask why she was doing that when the highway was closed and the lift-served would be banging she shrugged and said the roads were too snowy to be driving ???
