Been a while since I was up so dug a pit on E aspect at 6200'. 3" of fresh on a wind rain crust that was well bonded to a consolidated snowpack down 4 feet plus. Dug another at 6500' on the steep summit of gunsight and it was the same. Did 2 laps and the afternoon one was heavier snow due to the drizzle that started after 2 pm, a bit tougher skiing.
The snow pack is pretty stable there.
