chalkboard of bc conditions at resort lodges

Have never seen one anywhere and just had the idea of how helpful it would be on a day to day basis, as an example where I tour out of the resort there is a great lodge at 5800' where all the bc tourers come for food and drink either before going out or after. A nice chalkboard say 12"x16" or so where people could write their recent observations and knowledge of the day's experience would be something worth the read.
Will be talking to the lodge mgr. to see if he would tack it up on a wall or beam post if I gave him one.

Interesting thought but it could also be be a big can worms for a resort posting conditions outside of their boundaries

SERIOUSLY the can of worms things  rears its ugly head.
The biggest problem I foresaw was who was going to pay for the nail.

The nanny and litigious world we live in filbo. But yeah, I like the idea. Might wonder about the creds of those who'd post the info, though. A board at patrol shack, top of chair by gate and beacon check would be awesome ~ but that would never fly..
