Short Report - What a diff a year makes...Still very nice and see forever sunny, fairly warm (skiing the bumps), happy light crowd (regardless what
#1 thought). No really noticeable lift lines, great screamer groomers early and happy North facing bumps to make the RockCoombas happy...


Long Wordy Report - Arrived early to a very entertaining cleanup crew in the base lodge (Including Mr Dad and his son)....must have been an
impressive function last night. But once out of the lodge and jumping first chair on CHex and REX (still having some stop issues early) the day
was pretty non stop fast, fast groomers, fast packed pow bumps, mostly fast lifts and nobody really on the mountain. Did a early social in
CB lodge. Skied some runs (maybe only really one) with the BINX pack and some others with Ms. Charlene (Mr
Ferks bride) and my #1...#1 one was having a great day till a moron slide into her when she was trying to be nice to another moron...dang, but not
to bad. Rocks starting to pop out in some high traffic areas, but still not to bad. Did a lot of GV Bowl to MIFB (MIFB was pretty firm early, but very happy
sun soft by mid day). Some of the bumps in PB are getting tall and sharp - snow still good and probably easier out of the main top lines. BP's was
work out good, not fast, but lots of thinking turns. Great day, way better than the last day of 2017!

Other - Had to much pizza at CB lodge (gonna have to stop that), soup was The Triple C (it was a little spicy for #1)...Lodges were reasonably packed.

Putty Truck Report - nice drive up, wacky tourist slow in the afternoon, Pay lot had random rows but a fair number of cars, C and B had lots of cars,
but F was happily empty today....

All in all a very SPECTACULAR SPECTACULAR (Moulin Rouge movie) first day of 2018....very hamster good quality.
