Short Report - Very grey early, but mostly filtered sun glow till around 1ish.
Crowd showed up, but lift lines were not to bad everywhere, snow quality was impacted
on the south slopes from yesterdays sun. But still great packed pow on the North facing
slopes I did. Groomers were smooth and fast early before the 10am hour
rush.

Long winded Report - Arrived early to not the front row and a very big Pay lot.
Casual conditions early, with a fairly small early rush up Chex ( Bucket loaded early
and a few got to the top before REX rush).  Very grey somewhat fuzzy vis early, LS
was screaming fast and smooth. Sun poked through the clouds, vis got a bunch
better, allowing runs down GV bowl center - nice happy bumps, Ann's was very
happy carving big deep bumps....And then other places called...Hope Chair 6 10am
start time is not permanent - though it allowed me to snag the first chair...in
front 10 or so folks.  PB skied very nice with fairly small bumps in the middle.  Did a few
be nice runs with #1 on FQex before she went to CB lodge for an early
(before the hoards) lunch....was not on my radar at that time...did a few far
south runs on
Chair 6 while REX had some lineups  and "running" issues (lots of stopping for
a short period late morning)...Did the last main entrance back to Chair 6 (#3), was
sun impacted, skiable, but not nice fluffy soft. Last run way south was
Hamburger (Throne bowl)...lordy that was a long way south, snow was nice, the
massive
traverse out was not to bad, some rocks, some bouncing around, but better than
I had expected.  Finished my Chair 6 time with one last PB to BP's run, nice work
out!  Hamster Heaven kicked in when I got back to REX and cycled GV Bowl to
the Plunge (skier right side of MIFB)....aaaahhh...many beat my quads up repeats.
RockCoombas were very happy.  Meet back up with #1 and we both decided it
had been a good day and we could head home. Worst lift lines I saw were on
FQex during the typical 10 o'clock hour....kept me away from that area.  Never
any lift lines on REX - when it was running smoothly.

Other - Never went into CB lodge..so no soup report from there, but the base
had TB soup.  Heard CB lodge was packed during prime time lunch and the base
was a total zoo of humans when we left.

Other other -  The Putty truck report....pay lot as noted was prime season big
and actually amazingly completely full, rest of the lots down to E were
packed.  So
the crowds did show up - dang....me!  Should have skied yesterday...oh well it
was still a fun day on snow.
