Quick front and back. Snowing and 31 @ the parking lot @ , <1 inch on car by 10:30. Hidden Valley was quite acceptable; cut heavy powder from Tue-Wed and filled in enough. Main face was thin at the bottom. Lifts were moving a bit, perhaps maintenance activities.
Lift skiing at East begins tomorrow.
Really Silas, I thought it was Tuesday. If it is tomorrow then my boys will be happy.
Oops, I should have checked the website, I'm not sure why I thought it was opening this weekend. Word to the wise, never trust an old guy.
The Summit East Nordic center opens tomorrow for those of the XC persuasion. The upper trails should be great.
