Although I skinned up and did not use lifts, I figured this report belonged here anyways being I did not venture out into the BC. Mt. Baker Ski area does a pretty good job of grooming their runs. Conditions off the groomed runs seemed icy as I heard the edges scraping the snow from a few skiers and riders venturing off into the somewhat bumped out conditions. I have to say, this does make for a great way to get a good workout in.
