Any of you wily skin track veterans ever have to deal with a touring boot liner that moves and squeaks inside the shell while in walk mode?  Is there a simple solution?  Tape? Talcum powder? Basic chemistry? Spittle?
I have a pair of Atomic Backlands. I think they get a little moist in the heel as the day wears on and they are kind of annoying to walk in at the moment. Any 411 would be mucho appreciated.

If the squeak is from a damp foot in the liner, consider applying spray antiperspirant to your feet. They will stay dryer and warmer. Reccomend testing in town a few days before in case the spray gives you a rash.

Squeaking that comes from the liner moving up and down in the boot can sometimes by sovled by adjusting forefoot tension (with the buckle) to ensure the heel of the foot stays in the heel pocket; also reduces wear on the liner. That said, I have a squeaky liner too in my left Scarpa F1 LOL

Thanks

I notice that as the day wears on the Backland liner gets moist through the shell via the cuff and pivot area surrounding the heel. Comfy light boot but I'm not too impressed by this feature.

Pants with gaiters / stirrups might help that
