The snow starts at the turn off from Mount Loop, about 5" at the TH. It should be derivable to the TH this weekend.  We almost became a statistics for another-subaru-gone-too-far. The main creek crossing was easiest ever, actually the 1st crossing was trickier. Skinned from the lower meadow, still a lot of obstacles in the boulder fields.  Best ever skiing on the Headlee Pass gully. Great skiing above though the snow was a bit heavier.

Awesome photos!!😋

Awesome photos. Any thoughts on snow conditions this weekend with all this sun?

The upper slopes are mostly East facing and the winter sun does't hit it much.  The snow might stay powdery especially in steep chutes down to the lake.  The trail is broken, nothing to lose with nice views!

Thanks for the encouragement. We found good snow up top still and lapped that. The cooler was totally chopped up and the bowl was heavy mashed potatoes. Still worth it for all the views and good turns at the top.  ;D

Lovelovelove that low hanging early winter light
