12/7 Whistler

Limped out of town today on a bad knee and ankle. Pretty good time to be hurt......time is running out on soft snow. Groomers are in fine shape and they are snowmaking the runouts like crazy. No crowds this week at all...Weekend will be somewhat different, but Harmony should open. Next week will be private skiing again, until the Christmas crowd starts to kick in. If we go a long time without snow, Whistler will still hold up well. With a thick snowpack on top and man made snow at the bottom they will be fully open soon, and stay that way till June - or another bad Pinapple Express....Enterances to the steeps, and bumpfields will all be firm until new snow.
