Okay...heard that they had a delayed opening so I got all psyched about getting up for fresh tracks. Drove up and noticed an odd amount of cars heading down the mountain. No big deal, I had a capuchino from Graham's so I was good. About 1/2 way up the mountain I have to wait while some kids empty out the truck they just stacked into a ditch. While waiting there I talk to a guy coming down the mountain who informs me that they'll just be running chair 7 today. So I turn around and head back out. All in all it's a beautiful day and the coffee at Graham's is wonderful.

That's too bad. I bet they were having trouble opening the mountain. We went Saturday and it rawked! Took them 1/2 the day to open anything on PanDome, but eventually just chair 6 opened up and it was all good

<br>That sucks. Yesterday was pretty good. The Canyon wasn't open but everyplace else was awesome. It's just so nice to see everything filled in!

it snowed 2 feet last night alone. crazy. i dont know why they would just open 7 though, i have been up there several times before with 20+ over night, and the whole mountain was still open. i suspect they are walking on egg shells with the the recent fatalities.

<br>That does sound like the situation. I think the snow report today & in the subsequent days will bear that out. Pity.
