Attempted getting up to Roaring Ridge having never done this route before. In brief found nice fluffy 4-6" of powder where we topped out, but not really enough coverage to get a long run in.
Route finding was tricky, the blue markers on the tress off the Iron Horse trail really are tough to spot. Now that I've seen them once though should be easier in the future.
Booted up the forest service road most of the way and wasn't until ~3100 that there was sufficient cover to start skinning up. Never found a great path up and turned around before making it to the top and cruised down the forest service road. Good hike at least.

Thanks for the report -- looks like the jeepers are still having fun with RD 9070 :(
