12/4/2017, Alpental winter season begins
« on: 12/04/17, 12:24 PM »

What a crazy weekend.  I am certain I haven't seen that much uphill interest outside of a VertFest !  Good decision to let the faithful have some great fun, but with the snow that fell Friday through Sunday we have enough to get rolling.  SO…starting tomorrow we will begin to set up the mountain and winter uphill travel  rules will apply.  Alp closed to all uphill users unless the lifts are OPEN for customers, AND in that case you must make contact with Patrol before beginning to climb.  We will do our best to accommodate your desired tour but there will be times when the answer has to be no.  (The good news is more laps via chairlift!).  Full policy explained on our website.

Thank You EVERYONE who helps make this work, have a safe and enjoyable winter.

Not even Acres was spared the wrath of the crowds this weekend - the terrain off Triple 60 is already growing bumps!

Thanks for the hard-work you do to make the hill run. Looking forward to the mechanically-assisted laps to come!
