Lotsa happy folks skiing opening day in the fog. Tough visibility for an old guy. Groomers were smooth and soft. All lifts were operating. Off piste was challenging with surprises.

I did get some of the first lift-served lines of the season beneath Wildside - they were deep & heavy but worthwhile. Lots of pillows to be enjoyed on that side of the hill followed by an afternoon of mellow laps in the blowing snow & fog. Rode every chair at least once - worst rides were on PC where the chair stopped several times during each ride. Dodge Ridge was spinning which made for a nice alternative, you just had to watch out for the creek holes when venturing away from the groomed terrain.
