Groomers are smoothing West for opening day tomorrow. Off piste had sun crust over a foot of soft snow, tricky skiing especially so early in the season. Many TAY regulars were seen.
A dozen or more folks found spicy conditions on the far north edge of Alpental side country. Surprise "crevasses" here and there, be sure to buddy up and track each other.

Sun crust on all solar aspects?
I rode Alpental 12/1 and found fun snow on the upper mountain, both the fan and upper nash. Conditions got much worse on lower mountain with a noticeable rain curst (still fun on a splitboard tho!). Upper nash had the best turns of the day! The fan was fun with some exciting holes.
