A great but crowded day early on as every local was shredding their "secret" spots. Being early season, with just a few lifts open, the powder went away as fast as a 12" Saturday at Stevens Pass...Bombed the Peak and let us hike!!!Right on...Great time getting trackless deep for a short walk - and having it avy controlled!

Alpine WILL open soon......Patrol was wanding and roping!

I went home before the rain, but I'm happy to see that the repair has started. The Roundhouse went below freezing by 3am, and snow is in the forecast every day. Not down to the village, but.......
