Susan and I made a quick skin up Alpy before the storm. Icy skintrack on the way up; ski crampons recommended for ease. We booted Rollen; what would have been easy skinning yesterday afternoon was step-kicking hard this morning.
Nash had been skied pretty hard, but untouched snow was dry. The transition from upper to lower Nash was pretty holey, but serviceable. A few fine open turns right of lower Nash, then increasingly heavy/suncrusted snow all the way to the patio.
No instability noted. Beautiful clouds as the front began to roll in.
