Two missing on Mount Baker

According to the Bellingham Herald , two snowboarders are missing since Sunday on Mount Baker. Very few amplifying details at this time.

Kinda punches me in the gut a little. I woke up Sunday morning with the intent to skin up to Artist Point then back to the car. I knew there was a lot of snow coming in, but in the morning I saw there was a lot of wind as well, and that freaked me out. I checked NWAC, and although they're not issuing reports yet, they did strongly advise against going above 5,000 ft on Baker. I texted my partners and we skinned up Stevens Pass resort instead.

Near Mt Baker Ski Area, Not ON MT BAKER.  Still missing, search continues today.  Sad.

The original reporting was pretty vague. I'm now hearing they skirted the edge of the resort before going missing. I considered assisting with search efforts, but couldn't find a good POC. Sadly, they've had so much snow fall since Sunday that the odds of finding anything are fairly slim.
