Skinned from lot to 8800. Skied SE aspect to 7200 and lapped back up to 7800. Snow on SE aspect was wind effected above 7800, but was nice/fresh boot top between 7800 and 6000. Below 6000 sun exposed slopes had some dampness. Below 7200 skiing was in "shark infested waters" but didn't get any big bites.
It was a fun day up there. I continued to Muir to admire the wind affects. It wasn't too bad up there, pretty having the other volcanoes visable. You defiantly lapped the better snow. I thought the protected pow down low was the best quality tho even with the sharks. I got a couple of new bites out of the rock skis.

We tried dropping into the Paradise (where it appears you were lapping the lower slopes), but it was nasty wind-affected up where we tested. Crossed back over to Muir and enjoyed 2 laps on the mid-snowfield. I think the E wind must have blown a lot of the snow off of the Paradise onto Muir.

Oh, and meant definitely not defiantly - thanks iPhone.

Wind was working up there, tracks of people at huts just before me were hard to see as it all filled in.

Nice Randy - not a bad early day out
