Nov trip reports look locked or something which maybe why no posts yet?
Quick conditions update; winds felt stronger than the 10-15 forecast. I was going slow and got passed by a few parties, then saw about four groups retreat as I made my way up pan point. I went for a bit past pan point and then bailed myself because it began to feel like classic white out conditions. I ski cut a couple of small steep rolls and it was easy to release little isolated windslabs. With the new snow since then I would imagine the slopes on the loaded side are pretty ripe for popping a pocket somewhere. Plenty of people were heading up as I retreated, perhaps they can add to what it was like up higher than I went. Hopefully conditions calmed later in the day and allowed for better visibility. Tempting to take a day of tomorrow or tues... I was considering heading up today but with the increase in forecast snow it showed I had a hunch that gate would not be open early if at all. Filling in nicely up there.
