Sunny day, with plenty of folks out hiking for their turns, and pleasure hikers. Down low there's less snow than a month ago, but up high on the snow field the sun cups had been filled in and consolidated coverage.

Left car at 845am and should have worn shoes rather than touring boots (a month ago there was enough snow to warrant such a decision), so eager to get on the snow and fast walked the lower sections.
-on the approach:

Snow began in earnest a little above pebble creek:

Easy skinning all the way up to Camp Muir:

~1215 pm I lounged on the rocks ~500 ft below Camp Muir. Stoked to see so many making their way up, and down, the mountain - Rock on, people! I clicked in and headed down after a half hour. Snow was great here; fast consolidated snow for 1500 ft. At Anvil rock snow started to slow down, and more so with less altitude. Fun turns had on the steeper pitches approaching the entrance to Nisqually chutes, but not near enough snow for those now :'(

Boots off for the walk out felt good; in the car by 240.

Month 10 down, first post here. :D
