I guess it's time for me to pay my due.

We planned to ski Van Trump and higher, but opted for another trip up Muir. It needs a new coat of snow below 6000'. Wasn't as sunny as we hoped so we stopped at 9000', but skiing was great on soft snow. Old snow is already poking out many places on Muir. The upper slope of Van Trump toward the Camp Hazard looked very good.
Good info - thanks for the report. I wonder if your soft snow from yesterday is going to be turning into boilerplate this weekend with the lowering FLs? I'm also wondering about coverage above Pan Point - was it a continuous ski from 9K to Pebble Creek? To Pan Pt?

Charles

9K down to Pebble Creek is very good; Water is flowing over the snow so you want to de-ski there.  A few more de-ski on the way down; the top first and second rock benches are bare.  I think skiing is out of question (least for me) this weekend.  The skiable part will be all frozen until next warm weekend.

Great info, Kenji.
Thanks!!

Ron beat me to it - thanks for the additional info.
