WA Cascades West Slopes South (Mt Rainier)

The storms of the past couple days provided enough fresh snow (4-6"?) to skin from the car and back (with rock skis and a few carries.) Walkers I met at Pan Point leapfrogged down with me, saved their ski bases, and arrived at the parking lot at the same time as the guy who HAD to ski to the car. Blue skies and low wind made a nice day, tho the slopes above 9000' have exposed old icy patches. Good day for a birthday tour Todd.
