Once again you don't know if you don't go!  Given the weather forecast, I was thinking of pushing the ski day back to Friday but Greg only had Thursday available. So I added full goretex to the pack and joined Greg and Mark for the ride to Paradise. David met us in the parking lot and we ended up finding 4-6" of creamy settled fresh snow smoothing the old base with blue sky and no wind above 7300'. We skinned from the car and were able to ski back (rock skis) to the creek crossing (at 5800') below Alta Vista where the snow had melted off the pavement. Good to get 20 years in the bag.
Nice way to start the season.

That skiing looks dreamy for September.
And a big slap on the back for 240 months  8)

Righteous first post of the season.
The dedicated skier gets the turns

20 years...Can you recall all of them?! Nice work, Ironman. My 240 is right behind ya, next weekend!!!

Silas that looks like a great ski, congrats,
