Expecting an insufficient base, we we're planning on heading to the Lyall Glacier. But we never made it because the light was a little flat, and the skiing was so good in the trees. Two and a half to three feet of snow (@6000ft), nice dry powder, ski penetration about a foot - probably the best November turns I've ever had. :) The terrain was a little odd where we were, with steep cliffy sections mixed with flat spots, but we did find some fun boulder gardens, which were, suprisingly, skiable. A great day, and we were able to ski all the way back to the car (just under 2 feet at highway level).
