Great first day on the snow after a week visiting friends and turisteando around the central region.

In 2005 Jill and I backcountry toured there because the ski area was closed. We were the only folks in the area. It was fun to ski around the Monkey Puzzle trees – made for some great pictures.
In 2007 we were at the area during the ski season. We skiied out towards the geyser building. No one else was in the area.
