Made a late July romp up the West side of Timberline in the sweltering afternoon yesterday. Had to celebrate the fantastic weather and deep snowpack despite the UV oven vibes.
Man is there still a lot of snow! The jibbers were out in force but there were only a few hikers out beyond the boundaries. Long runs still persist down the fall line towards mississippi head.
Snow begins in a narrow strip about 50 yards up the standard trail from the parking lot. Stay out of the way when skinning during operating hours.

came to TAY to say this. Went up 7/24 with some bros; skinned to Illumination Saddle. Still a ton of snow and fun was had by all. I think I'll go back soon. Truly a turns-all-year season.
