Adams Fail July 8-11
« on: 07/21/17, 11:18 AM »

A pulled Achilles limited me all Spring but I did manage a trip to the Muir Snowfield for the first time on June 24!
(thanks Lowell for the inspiration for that one)
2 weeks later I voyaged down to Adams for the first time with the BCMC (thanks guys!) Extremely hot weather made the hike up to camp at the Lunch Counter a bit of an ordeal but light packs made it doable.
I was the only skier in the group LOL so I ended up pretty much alone the whole time so I conservatively decided not to summit or attempt SW Chutes (next time!)
I made it up higher than I've ever been before,
 higher than Baker!
 10900ish.
 So Whoopee for me!
Thanks TAY as always for the inspiration www.flickr.com/photos/shailcaesar/albums/72157686569841395

Bravo! Way to represent as the only one with boards!  A great reason to return to a great mountain, go get those chutes next year!
