3-4 carries and some dirty, suncupped snow, but the corn skied consistent. Lots of people enjoying a beautiful day in the mountains.
And today the 4th, too.  Lots of Camp Muir hikers attired in stars and stripes.  I flew my red, white and blue K2 Hardsides.

Skiing was bumpy but fun and not grabby, top (Muir) to bottom. Kind of long carries at Pan Point and Pebble Creek, maybe avoidable. For me the down hike on rocks induced cramps in both legs. Ran out of water after 3L and drank from what I hope was just snowmelt. A nice cruise all the way to the visitors center from below Pan Pt.
There was a chopper flying with a stop at Muir after I left. Does not seem like the day to empty the potties.  Was their a search?

Very sorry to hear that news. Thoughts and prayers for the skier, family and loved ones.
