Colchuck is still skiable all the way to the lake. The lower part is going to include a rock crossing soon. I followed Jtack's lead and skied at 1:15. I think it might be even better an hour later. Surface is rough. I wouldn't do it on a cloudy day. It was a beautiful sunny holiday weekend day at Colchuck Lake. I met two people on the way in, and 193 on the way out.
