The Northside of Adams was pretty good last weekend  ;D

Yeah, that looks "pretty good"

Very nice! What time did you drop in?

Lava ridge to boot, that's the way to rock Adams northside.

Our thoughts traveled to the other side of the mountain while we were lounging in the stream...    conditions looked right on. Very nice!

Did someone else ski it too that day?  There's some curious looking tracks...

We were the only skiers on Saturday.  The tracks lookers right were already there. Almost looked like a skin track.

Great Video! I was with the group you met heading up the N Ridge Sunday morning. We skied the NFNWR around 2pm. The top section was still a little firm in places, and the bottom 500 feet was starting to get pretty soft. Looks like Saturday was a bit better. Still - a fantastic ski! We thought the exit onto the Adams glacier was a little non-intuitive from above, though it ended up being easy enough.

That looks awesome.  Great corn, nice line, sweet video.  Thanks for sharing!

Nice work!  Was it windy on the face when you dropped in?  It was 100 degrees in packwood when we stopped for burgers!

Awesome vid brother. WOW.

Oh man, so good. I had to go back and watch this again.

How is the approach?

I may have to hit the north side before the carry becomes terrible(maybe too late?).

Snow line is roughly 6k. Skeeters are horrendous down at the trailheads, less so up high. Don't forget the DEET.

It stayed windy on the ridge crest, but once we dropped onto the N side it died down. The heat was a killer on the hike down - best part of the day was a dip in Horseshoe lake on the drive out!
