WA Cascades West Slopes South (Mt Rainier)

Mosetick (the hardest workin' man on Turns-All-Year), Katherine Burt, and I skied several slopes at the pass today. Temps were high but the snow stayed plenty consolidated. Minimal sun cups, some tree debris, a few streams peeking out, ski penetration 2-4", bit of shallow sluffing on W face of Naches in the HOT afternoon.
After a fine day with friends, my muse got off her butt long enough to proffer a poetic tribute:
JUNETURNTH
Chris Mosetick, the TAY 'ministrator,
Needed June turns before it got later.
So we went off to ski,
Then carved corn with glee;
And not even one of us cratered!
