Skied the Finger on Rainier yesterday w/ four friends. Climbed in a single push, leaving the car at the confusing hour of 1115pm, summited around 1030am. I didn't expect such great conditions so late in the season but recent storms seem to have left the south side in nice shape. Passed the full-width crevasse on the Nisqually at around 12.5k' by climbing left through an icefall towards the uppermost slopes of the Wilson HW; might be a passage near the center-right, too. Absolutely amazing snow from about 13,500' to 6,500'. Most exciting of all, my post date matches the ubiquitous "Eg.: June 23, 2007, Mt. Rainier, Camp Muir corn" below the new topic subject box.

We climbed to that crevasse 2 weeks ago and it was wall to wall, did not have the energy to climb into the icefall, good call.
