TAY search help, search threads started by user

Trying to search for all threads started by user, not all posts by user. Someone help, I feel dumb.

Click on user’s name to get to their profile.
Scroll down and click on “Show the last posts of this person.”

Those threads are gone, man.

chuck's approach gets you part of the way there, but doesn't yield just the starts.

the man with the skills you seek is Amar. I recall some time ago he did some impressive stuff sorting through TAY posts to yield useful info., but for precisely what now I cannot recall.

I clicked on my own name then my own profile then in the left column "Posts" and 56 pages of my posts came up dating back to 2002.

cmon this has to be super easy

With the current forum software, you can easily see how many topics you have started (61 at this time) by visiting your Stats page.

But I'm not aware of the method at this time to just filter by topics that a particular user started.

I hope to amend issues like this in the new web site.
