I felt an urge to critique his stance....but then I went skiing today, and I no longer have the urge to critique anyone, ever again.

FWIW, I saw photos on telemarktips.com many years ago of someone telemarking on water using actual telemark skis. I think the guy was Norwegian, which kind've figures. He was being towed behind a boat, and was very warmly dressed, as if the climate was less-than-tropical.

So not exactly "the first," but maybe "the first with high definition video, a nice soundtrack, and a quality smile.
