Spectacular conditions. Skied in Sunday afternoon to a campsite 0.5 mi. NE of Camp Lake. Bit of a late start on Monday, but found our way up the south face. First time on Middle so, it took a bit of exploring to sort out the best route. Dropped skis 800' below summit. If I was to do it again, I'd carry the skis to a point 300' below summit, where the triangular snow field pinches down. Gorgeous views from the summit. No one else on the mountain...

Skied a line all the way down to Camp Lake, and it was perfect snow from beginning to end. No mush.

What  a great day on a great peak with great friends.

Snow line was at 6000'; about 3 miles from TH.
